Matt Burkett

Matt Burkett is an Assistant Professor of Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia where he also serves as Director of Professional Programs and Director of the Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) in Systems Engineering.  Prior to joining UVA faculty, Matt was a Vice President of Research for the investment firm, LOC Advisors, and Senior Director for Data and Analytics for the Ankura Consulting Group.  His research interests include the application of systems engineering principles in financial engineering and investment management, economic and statistical modeling, and Markovian processes.
